Coronavirus update

COVID-19 update:

We are excited to able to come together once again to have service together May 24th. The Divine Service at 10:00 am in an abbreviated format ending at about 10:30 am. This will allow for minimal time inside. There will be no Sunday School as of yet. Also, there will be weekly cleaning to make sure we are taking every precaution possible.

We would encourage anyone who does not feel comfortable to attend in-person services to do as they feel necessary for their personal health and safety. We would also ask that if you are at high risk or feel ill, to stay home for your and other’s benefit.

As people arrive in the church parking lot, please remember to social distance as best as possible. For those who are able to return to church, we ask that each person would wear a face mask when social distancing is difficult, such as coming and going from the building or inside the building.

Each family unit will need to be seated together on the same pew, while individuals/couples must be able to be seated 6 ft from one another if on the same pew. Every other pew will be occupied to create the proper social distancing. Due to the inability to properly social distance, there will be no nursery until further notice.

Please do feel free to share your love by waving to one another.

After everyone has entered and seated, the service will begin with a song but there will not be any singing.  During communion, an usher will direct family units to come up for communion by the center aisle. Hand sanitizer will be located at the front and the back of the sanctuary for your convenience. The family unit or individual will stand on the X marked by tape until the Pastor motions you up for communion. There will not be kneeling at the communion rail but remain standing. Pastor will have a face mask and gloves to hand you the elements. After you are finished with the communion cup, please throw it in the garbage located towards the outside aisles. Use the outside aisles to return to your seat, please.

The service will end with unaccompanied music. The usher will dismiss rows starting from the back to the front to allow for appropriate social distancing.

We have missed everyone so much and hope that we will get the opportunity to see you. If you are unable to attend, we send our love and prayers to you and will eagerly await the day we can fellowship together again.
